Moira Protani - Legal advice for charitiesSave money on compliance costs with advice on good governance, a modern constitution and charity law regulation

I am a senior charity law and governance practitioner and help charities and social enterprises of any size to comply with charity law, implement good governance practices and change their legal structures.

After 26 years of working in partnerships with other lawyers it was time for a new challenge - so I set up my own company. My clients, to whom I provide a confidential and reasonably priced service, are situated primarily in London and the South East (including Brighton where I live) and also further afield.  I have extensive experience of advising charities from all sectors including those providing:

  • Education
  • Religious services and instruction
  • Care and support for vulnerable people
  • Social housing and associated services for the relief of need

From an early stage in my career, I have been recognised as a specialist charity lawyer and leader in my field by Legal 500 and Chambers' Guide to the Legal Profession.
